Dutch company Xtenders has in its range a 9.3-meter vessel which has been designed to combine all the advantages of an open day boat and a luxurious limousine.
The latest example was just delivered by the Dutch company and it will be used by the owner along with its 83.5 meter Feadship superyacht. The tender is made solely from carbon fiber, weighing 3.5 tons. It can reach speeds of up to 39 knots.
The tender also uses innovative design, featuring two retractable roofs making the boat multifunctional. The owner can move electronically the two roofs into three different positions. Raising the roof and the bimini forms a fully functional limousine with two separate decks. The bimini can be raised above the aft deck to transform the boat into a versatile tender with two open decks. Into the third position, both roofs can be lowered into the hull, creating a storage height of 1.5 meters. In this position, the boat can be neatly stored in the superyacht garage.
The vessel has two areas, front limousine interior and open aft deck with an adjustable seating arrangement. The main interior can seat 12 guests and benefits from a panoramic roof, climate control, and multimedia system.
“The custom convertible limousine is a prime example of a truly personalized product,” said a spokesman from Xtender. “A tremendous amount of effort and craftsmanship was taken to design, engineer, and build such a unique vessel to the highest superyacht standards.”
